Kind Hands Caring Services have put together this Service User’s Guide to enable you to make an informed choice as to whether our service will assist you.
Our services are designed for people over the age of 18, who have any of the following problems:
- Mental Health Problems
- End of Life Care
- Hearing and Eyesight Problems
- Learning Difficulties
Aims and Objectives
Kind Hands Caring Services aims to provide care and support for service users in their own homes, empowering them to maintain their independence, giving them encouragement to do as much as they are able while allowing them to have rights, choices and dignity.
Kind Hands Caring Services aims to provide a service focused on the service user. We aim to meet the requirements of each service users individual assessment, monitor progress thus enabling us to meet any changing needs. We aim to maintain our service users independence, privacy, security, dignity and freedom of choice which will enhance and fulfil their lives.
In order to achieve these aims, Kind Hands Caring Services will make sure their staff respect both service users and their homes. Statutory training will be provided for all our staff, and all staff will be encouraged to undertake further training to improve their knowledge and skills.
Your carer will be able to undertake personal care for you, such as helping you to get up, washing and dressing, bathing, toileting and making your bed. They will be able to help you back into bed at night and assist you with many other tasks that you may need help with.
Domestic and Household Services
Your carer will be able to undertake light domestic tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, general cleaning, washing up and laundry.
Preparation of meals and snacks
Your carer will be able to prepare light meals and any other snacks or drinks that you may need during the day.
Escort to Appointments Service
Our carer will be able to collect you and take you to any appointment you may need to attend or complete any errand for you (e.g. shopping, collecting pensions or paying bills).
